Wow, I have not updated this in over a year... I guess I just haven't bother to take the time. I haven't had much art to post up either. Mostly been busy with life, working, going to school, and hanging out with friends. Which has not left me with as much free time as I'd like.

However, recently I have been picking up drawing again, after about a 6 month break essentially. Honestly, if feels great to do it again. I haven't done anything major, just random sketches, but it still something.

I did make a rather big purchase as well to feed my artist hunger, a new Wacom Cintiq 12WX tablet. Got it through work directly, so I managed to get a discount on it at least. It was totally worth it though. It is an amazing piece of hardware, essentially take a Intous 3 and slap it together with a monitor and this is what you get. It really feels like just drawing on a sketchbook, well not exactly, but it might as well be. I did a few recently pieces just to play around with it. I probably spent 12 hours on it in the last two days I've had it.

Long weekend is at least approaching!!!

I can say that I've been looking forward to it. This week has been really insane for me, with school and work. The other technician at our store went away for a week, so I've been left alone to fend for myself. Needless to say, it is somewhat stress having to do everything on your own, fortunetaly it hasn't been that busy in terms of computers coming in for repairs, which is rather unusual. School has not be so bad, its just homework is time consuming, did have an exam on Thursday but, I managed to destroy it.

This long weekend should fun, Saturday I work, ack, but Sunday I'm planning on going down to Stanely Park with a buddy of mine, I mainly want to go to take some pictures with my new Rebel XSi camera. I don't think I mentioned that I got a new camera, but ya, I did.
Such a nice camera and so many features and buttons that I've still just been playing around with, trying to get used to it. If anything this Sunday will be just a practice session for me. We'll see how many pictures I manage to not screw up taking.

Monday is gonna be a more relaxed day for me, going to be playing in a magic the gathering draft ( Hurrah for nerdism ).

I've been trying to get some work done for a project I'm working on as well. Currently I'm making some artwork for alienaa.com. Drawing out images for a new section of the game. I also have some stuff I'd like to upload for a previous project as well, hopefully I'll get the chance later today.

Yarrr, so time for another periodic and rare journal update.

I've been incredibly busy as of late, I've been working on a couple of art projects, one of them are done for now, trying to focus on the other. Unfortunately, I have school now, taking my A+ hardware certification, on top of work. Which has taken up most of my time, that and I've been hanging out with many friends, recently we had a Venture Bros. Marathon and Flight of the Concords Marathon, both really funny shows that I would highly recommend watching if you're in need of a good laugh.

I have been working on a new character profile pic, it's being sketched right now, though I'm not happy with the pose yet, so it might be a while before I finally upload it. It shall be grand though.

I also finished watching Gurren Lagaan, great anime, one of the most unique and best I've seen in a while. Great music as well.

Well, I'm back from Poland now, return last Monday evening.

All in all, pretty fun trip. Now the process of readjusting to the different time zone is done. I've managed to upload all my new sketches and have started working on some new stuff. I managed to pick up some art projects from two people, one for alienaa again and another for some new game being made as well. I'm pretty excited about it, being able to get back into the groove of things.

I'm going back to work next Monday, or at least I want to, my mom on the other hand wants me to go back tomorrow. Bah...

That's about all for now, just wanted to do a brief update.

So, I'm writing up a new journal entry on my last day in the home country. I must say, overall it was fun, best times were in Krakow though, saw a lot of things there. It was definitely nice to see all my family again, my grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, everyone. Got a nice amount of money for Christmas, so I'm thinking of getting myself a nice new Digital Camera, but I'm torn between a regular point and shot, or a DSLR camera. However, I'm patient, so I can wait.

I can honestly say I'm happy about getting back home, but at the same time not so much. This is mainly due to the fact that there are 21 computers waiting to be serviced at the computer store I work at, NCIX. Should be a lot of fun.

I'll also be uploading a lot of new sketches I did while I was here, and will most likely be working on some new stuff now that I'm more excited about drawing again.
